Toctino®
Alitretinoin belongs to the compound class of retinoids and is licensed for adult patients with severe chronic hand eczema (CHE) who do not respond to potent topical corticosteroids.
Current status
ToctinoŽ (oral alitretinoin) is marketed by Stiefel and its distributors in Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In addition, the drug is approved in 15 further European countries.
